Volu-Sol continues to develop new stains and to pioneer rapid staining formulations. The Company’s stringent quality controls and checks for contamination, stability, strength and variability, guarantee the safety and shelf-life of its products. Volu-Sol offers a high-volume discount in its pricing and clients are able to view sales activities from year to year. An account login enables each client to see pricing for each product and to prepare future orders. Continuing in the chemical reagent research of Ramanowsky, Wright and Giemsa on polychrome methylene blue solutions, Volu-Sol has improved the production process, quality, and shelf life of stains. The classical differential stains of Wright and Wright-Giemsa, Hematoxlyin, Acid Fast Base and others have been thoroughly researched on the basis of production, process, variables that affect stain quality and composition, and stain age in comparison to stain strength for an optimal shelf life. The highest analytical methods have been employed to ensure strict standards and to avoid the notorious batch variations common to many stains. In the 1990s Stat and Statim stain, rapid staining modifications of the classical differential staining methods, were trademarked under Volu-Sol and are still held proprietarily. Volu-Sol’s history -- manufacturing high quality stains for more than 30 years – means that the Company is recognized for products in Hematology, Microbiology, Histology and Cytology.
